Alley

I went out taking pictures of Alley this past week. After the initial pictures we headed to Jackson Park and upon entering the garden we were greeted by a scene that would be appropriate for a post-apocalyptic movie. Alley suggested “I Am Legend”, but I didn’t like that movie, so to me it reminded me of “12 Monkeys”. At any rate the place is a mess.
One moment I was taking pictures of her, I turned my back on for a second, and she disappeared into the grass lands that is now Jackson Park. I thought maybe one of the many critters got her. It’s time to cut the freaking lawn jackasses.
Actually, most others complain about the state of the parks.
“OH NOES the wild life will make a home in the bushes and get us”.
“OH NOES the place looks over run and horrible”.
And whatever other stupid thoughts entered their overly everything-is-an-outrage P.C. mind.
I’m probably one of the only people that sees it this way, but the continuing city strike is an opportunity. You hardly if ever see the city in this kind of disarray.
Needless to say, back to work you freaks.

Hayley is expecting twins, pretty soon actually. Pictures were taking in her mom’s backyard garden.
The Unique Rabbit

A couple weeks ago I did a photoshoot with a local clothing store called The Unique Rabbit. We went up on their roof and into their back alley. It was a good time.
Next week, Thursday, I’m doing another series at the store, but this time for Charity. Salon1309 is going to provide the hair and makeup, Unique Rabbit the clothing and location, and I will be doing the photos. Space was limited, but the number of spots got filled up in less than 24 hours.

I worked with Edy Haddad last year at about this time so he felt it was time to do some more. I like working with Edy, he is expressive, he doesn’t always do the ’I’m a tough guy’ kind of look.

Miss Marshall and I went out and did some photos at various places. It’s incredible at how small minded people can be, in particular this city. Allegedly people were talking about Amanda and I to the people at Phog, whom claimed she was half naked. I just have to shake my head at people here.

Melissa-Rae, her friend Nichole, and I went out exploring and picture taking. This was my choice. Melissa’s was the train yard, pictures of that to come later.
